Algae Harvester is an algae-eating drone that cleans the water and powers itself with biofuel produced from the collected algae. The remote-controlled device functions somewhat like a vacuum, sucking up any algae directly in its path which can cause toxins, reduce nutrients and damage fish reproduction. The collected algae can then be used for biofuel production, fertilisers and health care products. Algae Harvester addresses an environmental problem by using algae biomass as a future natural resource.
