The project uses an app to incentivise and compensate users for recycling with cash credits, and allows them to donate the amount they are reimbursed to support the initiative. The app's key features include: booking a recycables' pick-up, maps of nearest “greenWave” recycling bins and cash credits according to the volume of material recycled.
