Screen Out! is an interactive, illustrated guidebook that encourages parents and children to balance screen time with having meaningful interactions with the physical world. The book was inspired by childhood memories of growing up largely without screens and learning to find joy in the simplest aspects of the natural world. It offers advice and exercises to stimulate connections between parents and children and between virtual and physical experiences.
A Communication Design graduate from Pakistan, I am an illustrator and graphic designer. My work is usually hand-done, crafty and interactive. It is also heavily inspired by childhood memories of places I visited and stories that I grew up reading or listening to. I enjoy creating products and experiences which enable children to learn through play while encouraging them to connect with their physical environment in a meaningful way. Since graduating, I have been working as a product designer for a children’s home store in Karachi, Pakistan.morePortfolio LinkedIn Instagram Facebook
