Unlocking the Potential of a Global Pastime

Games supporting mental health

COVID-19 has significantly impact individuals' autonomy and social interaction, potentially compromising their mental health. Video games can facilitate feelings of relatedness, social connection and autonomy, as well as encourage real-world behavioral changes, including increased civic participation. Project Global Pastime faciliates the use of video games during lock downs and isolation, providing a list of beneficial games for specific needs that emerge from social isolation.
