Water Curtain

About

Faucet that allows control over water flow based on its use

Water Curtain is an innovative faucet that adjusts water use in response to the object presented beneath it. Conventional faucets rely on a fixed form and a single jet spray with limited water coverage, making it inefficient to wash large or multiple objects. The Water Curtain, however, uses an infrared sensor, located alongside the water outlet, to determine the amount of water required in relation to the object. The sensor also distinguishes between individual items, allowing two objects to be washed at once, each receiving individual water flows. When seeking manual control, the user taps the electronic slider on top to enable a traditional pour. The Water Curtain improves efficiency and water usage, while redefining the way we use the kitchen faucet.
