Zero Waste – Experimental Packaging

About

Organic cosmetics packaging that can be planted after use

Zero Waste is a line of experimental packaging made of biodegradable algae-based material. Designed as an alternative to non-biodegradable plaster, the Zero Waste material is completely organic, fully compostable, and even usable as a fertiliser to retain soil moisture. As a form of packaging, it holds its shape, remains waterproof, and protects against outside damage. Produced through a process of dissolving agar in water and calcium carbonate impregnated with vegetable-based wax, Zero Waste is a revolution in material packaging and a first step toward the mass production of fully sustainable products.
