Amar Nath Shaw, is a designer from India, currently based in Helsinki, Finland. He has recently graduated in Collaborative and Industrial Design (CoID) at Aalto University - School of Arts, Design and Architecture. He holds Bachelor in product design from National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, India. He has keen interest in designing for people living in challenging and low resource settings.
The initial development of the portable delivery stool design was funded by the project Lab.Our Ward, by M4ID. The final design solution user testing and field evaluation in India has been done as part of his master thesis work (2017) with support from Aalto University, Department of Design Grant.
